Australia's First Families of Wine is delighted
to announce that it will be sponsoring the press office during this
year's London International Wine Fair. In addition to the
sponsorship, AFFW will also be hosting a wine tasting of some of
its 'Iconic Wines' on Wednesday 19th May at
4pm in the press office (Q65) for members of the
press.
AFFW's long term aim is to improve the image of all Australian
wine. In many ways the members are not just custodians of their
land and brand but they also have a very real responsibility to
promote Australian wine and put the "heart and soul" back into Wine
Brand Australia.
One wine from each of the twelve AFFW wineries will be tasted
under the iconic wine theme including: Wakefield St Andrews
Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, Tyrrells Winemakers Selection Vat 1 Hunter
Valley Semillon 2002, d'Arenberg Dead Arm Shiraz 2006, Cyril
Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, McWilliams Mount Pleasant
