LIWF Reveals Impressive Support The thirtieth London International Wine Fair will see significant growth for many international pavilions, as well as increased presence for several UK agents. Organisers, Brintex, are also benefiting from the increased space at ExCeL due to the new extension, by bringing more of the popular LIWF and Distil features onto the show floor.
The thirtieth London International Wine Fair, which takes place from 18th - 20th May 2010 will once again play host to the popular Top 100 wines, selected by The Wine Gang. To highlight the thirtieth anniversary celebrations, this year's Top 100 tasting will feature thirty sparkling wines and seventy regional ambassadors, selected for their expression of variety and terroir.
The countdown is well and truly under way - there are less than six months to go before the start of the 2010 London International Wine Fair, when the event will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Thanks to major on-site improvements and an extension to the South hall, the LIWF and Distil will see a new layout at ExCeL next year.
Brintex is delighted to announce Jacqueline Snoeker and Oliver Thieme as the two latest additions to the London International Wine Fair (LIWF) and Distil Advisory Board. Jacqueline Snoeker has been with the Ahold Group, an international group of quality supermarkets based in the US and Europe, since 1992.
The London International Wine Fair has won the exhibition industry's highest accolade at the AEO (Association of Event Organisers) annual awards. Around 900 event industry professionals packed into the Park Lane Hilton for the occasion culminating in the announcement of the winner of The Best Trade Show category.
The London International Wine Fair and Distil have attracted the second highest visitor audience in the events' 29 year history. The net visitor figure of 13,893 individuals was seven percent below the extraordinary level achieved at the 2008 show, which had beaten the previous record high by nine percent.
