Freixenet Adding Sparkle At LIWF

The world's favourite Cava producer, Freixenet, will be showcasing a wide range of wines from its extensive portfolio of Cava and still wines from around the world. 

With a variety of sessions - including a Masterclass, led by renowned wine aficionado Tom Cannavan, illustrating the versatility and range of Freixenet Cavas; MW led tastings of Bordeaux 2009 en primeur, classed growth Châteaux, and insight into the prestigious wines of Yvon Mau; as well as spontaneous fun and entertainment on the stand allowing visitors to sample Freixenet's award-winning Cava while enjoying a little relaxing down-time - Freixenet's stand T40 will be the must-visit destination of the Fair.

 

Tuesday 18th May

11.30am - Restaurant Magazine On-trade Hub - stand O62

Freixenet Cava Presentation hosted by Freixenet Cava On-trade team

The presentation will introduce on-trade visitors to the wide range of Freixenet Cavas - including its iconic Cordon Negro, award winning Elyssia Pinot Noir and the just-launched Brut Vintage Reserva.

2.00pm - Freixenet stand - T40

Tasting of Bordeaux 2009 en primeurs, hosted by Richard Bampfield MW.

4.00pm - Freixenet stand - T40

Freixenet Cava Masterclass, hosted by Tom Cannavan of Wine-Pages and The Wine Gang.  Tom Cannavan will lead a tutored Cava tasting, demonstrating the versatility of the Freixenet Cava portfolio.

 

Wednesday 19th May

11.30am and 2.00pm - Freixenet stand, T40

Ch Sociando-Mallet vertical tasting at 11.30am and Bordeaux 2009 en primeur at 2pm, hosted by Richard Bampfield MW

4.00pm - Freixenet stand, T40

Hosted Freixenet spontaneous fun and entertainment, with Freixenet's Geoff Whiting taking a lighter look at the sparkling world of the wine trade - with an opportunity to sample Freixenet Cava.

 

Thursday 20th May

11.00am and 2.00pm - Freixenet stand, T40
