The Earth Works!  Chile's Emiliana talk birds, bees and the business of Bio!

Emiliana and Michael Cox hosted by Boutinot

Introduced by Michael Cox and presented further by Cristian Rodriguez of Emiliana, the duo look into how Chile has developed to become a viticultural mecca for organic and bio dynamic wine production and how a philosophy, sometime considered as holistic, has lead to profitable business.

Having worked with Emiliana for over 12 years, Chilean specialists Boutinot have seen Emiliana grow to be Chile's largest organic wine producer, a journey which started back in 1998.  The organic certification came three years later and since then they've gone from strength to strength, producing an award winning range and impressively becoming the first winery in Chile to be certified with a Biodynamic wine, namely Gê 2003.  Not only do Emiliana invest in the future of the land, they are also dedicated to the welfare of their workers and the local community.  From scholarships and training for employees to educational programs for school children and local businesses.

Emiliana have it all worked out, simply put...The Earth Works!  By ensuring their philosophies of  environmental care, social responsibility and economic viability interlock and work in harmony they have succeeded in achieving a sustainable future…hear how they do it and witness their diversity in the wine tasting during this seminar.
